A new product is coming to the UK that will bring an end to time wasted in the kitchen fiddling with cling film and foil.

CoverMate stretch-to-fit food covers easily stretch over various sized bowls, plates, Tupperware and boxes and keep food fresh easily and quickly, replacing the need for cling film or foil.

The transparent, non-PVC covers use a unique “Flexband” technology that allows users to cover, uncover and re-cover dishes in seconds, with a heat-sealed edge providing a tight hygienic seal to keep food fresh.

CoverMate’s durable covers are reusable and dishwasher-safe, while they are also microwavable, with four vents built in at each corner of the cover which allow steam to escape.

Waitrose, and Lakeland are already set to stock CoverMate when it launches in the UK in January. This time-saving product has been hugely popular with consumers and businesses in the USA and Canada over the last five years for the way it makes life so much simpler in the kitchen.
